Digital Education Programs for Schools, Districts, and Community Partners
Empower your students, families, and staff with engaging, standards-aligned digital education. BAM Digital Media LLC (Certified MWBE, City & State of New York) delivers fun, practical programs for DOE schools and educational organizations that build safe, confident, and kind digital citizens. Materials are available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
What We Offer At BAM Digital Media
We design and deliver turnkey programs for elementary through middle school students, educators, and families. Each class blends interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and measurable outcomes that administrators can track and celebrate. Programs are available as assemblies, in-class series (4/8/12 weeks), after-school enrichment, professional development, and family workshops.
Flagship Student Program: Digital Safety for Kids (Grades K–5)
A playful, not-scary introduction to online safety that kids actually enjoy.
Core topics include cyberbullying and kindness, privacy and passwords, safe searching, scams and “think before you click,” social media & DM safety, and digital footprints.
Delivery formats: 4-week (foundations), 8-week (expanded with projects), or 12-week (full semester with showcase). Students earn Digital Citizen certificates and contribute to a schoolwide culture of positive tech use.
Middle School Extension (Grades 6–8)
Age-appropriate deepening of the safety themes with more autonomy and responsibility: account security, platform settings, media literacy and misinformation, group chat norms, and reputation management for early social media use. Includes student-led PSAs or mini-campaigns to reinforce peer learning.
Educator Professional Development
Practical, step-by-step PD that protects staff and equips classrooms.
Modules: the Four Cs of online risk, phishing and account security, social media boundaries, responding to cyberbullying, FERPA/COPPA basics in practice, and lesson planning with digital citizenship and SEL. Offered as a 1-day PD, 4-week cohort, or 8-week deep dive with a school action plan. Participants receive a Certificate of Completion (Digital Safety Educator Level 1).
Family & Caregiver Workshops
Warm, judgment-free sessions that bring families into the conversation.
Topics: home device settings, age-appropriate app choices, family tech agreements, recognizing scams, and how to talk to kids about tough online moments. All take-home guides are available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
Additional Digital Literacy Classes
Beyond safety, we support broader digital confidence for school communities:
• Student Creation Labs: research skills, slide storytelling, and positive posting
• Career-Connected Skills: email etiquette, online applications, and portfolio basics
• Community Classes: beginner digital basics, digital safety 101 for adults, and small-business digital marketing for school partners and PTAs
How Our Classes Work
We bring everything needed to run high-engagement sessions: slide decks, activities, printables, and assessments. Sessions are 45–60 minutes and can be scheduled during the day or after school. Each program includes pre/post reflection prompts, schoolwide posters or pledges, and a simple reporting summary so leaders can see impact at a glance.
